ASRock’s Latest Offerings in Graphics Cards

ASRock, a leading manufacturer in the computing hardware industry, has officially listed its upcoming RX 7600 XT models, with a scheduled release just around the corner on January 24. The announcement was made on their global website, showcasing two distinct versions: the high-end Steel Legend and the more accessible Challenger model.

The Premium Steel Legend RX 7600 XT

The Steel Legend variant stands out with its striking all-white design, accentuated by black and gray inserts, catering to enthusiasts seeking both performance and aesthetics. This model is equipped with a robust cooling system, featuring a triple-fan heatsink that directs airflow across two aluminum fin blocks, interconnected by three copper heat pipes that make direct contact with the GPU. Notably, the board extends to 30.4 cm in length, indicating its substantial cooling capabilities.

Moreover, ASRock has given the Steel Legend a slight edge with factory overclocking, pushing the boost frequency up to 2810 MHz, compared to AMD’s reference model at 2755 MHz.

Challenger RX 7600 XT: The Accessible Option

The Challenger model, designed as an entry-level option, incorporates a dual-fan setup and employs a similar cooling strategy with two aluminum fin blocks and three heat pipes in direct contact with the GPU. Although it has one less fan than the Steel Legend, it compensates with distinctive RGB lighting integrated into four small strips on the fairing, adding a unique flair to the design. This version also benefits from factory overclocking, with a boost frequency of 2799 MHz.

ASRock’s Expansion with the RX 7900 GRE

Expanding its graphics card lineup, ASRock introduces the RX 7900 GRE, available in both Steel Legend and Challenger variants. While these models share aesthetic similarities with the RX 7600 XT versions, they are positioned in a different market segment, with the Steel Legend model priced at €599.90 and the Challenger at €579.90 at ProShop. These cards represent ASRock’s commitment to catering to a wide range of consumers, from high-end enthusiasts to budget-conscious gamers.
